Theme Park Board Game Design Blog – Week 10

This week, I’ve been focusing on solidifying the gameplay loop, and I’m happy with a lot of the ideas I’ve developed. The most radical change is the idea of having different phases. This works really well in the game, because theme parks are naturally built in phases starting with blue sky development (if you could build anything, what would it be?), then moving on to actual construction (having to take into account rides that may already be open) and finally allowing guests into your new experiences.
